‘Yoga is an
invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and
body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and
nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise
but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature,’
said our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during his address to UN General
Assembly. Expressing full faith in his belief and Indian tradition, Kairali
Ayurvedic Group celebrated the 3rd International Yoga Day on June 21, 2017 with an unmatchable fervor
at its Delhi centre.
On the occasion a special session was held for the employees, associates, management and guests where the expert
talked about adopting yogic lifestyle and its importance for the well-being for
body, mind, and soul. Yoga asanas were as well practiced emphasizing the need
of a yogic system of medicine not only for healing us physically, but also internally—
mind, emotions, and psychologically.
All
present were given T-shirts specially designed for celebrating the day. And as
planned, this day will be celebrated as an annual feature in Kairali Ayurvedic
Group, the day marks an extraordinary beginning to the beautiful union of Yoga
and Ayurveda. They are two sides of the same coin.
While Ayurveda lays the medical foundation of a healthy body, yoga strengthens
you spiritually. In a bid to help people instill yoga as a lifestyle, Kairali
Yoga classes are as well organized in Kairali Ayurvedic Centre, Mehrauli, New
Delhi every week where Ashtanga yoga, Classical asanas and Meditation is being
