The importance to be committed for overall health and wellness.

Health is a process that is always changing it is never constant. All of us have times of good health, times when we are sick and times when we have serious illness. The changes in health depend on our changing lifestyle.

There are some people who engage in regular physical activity do so to improve the current and future level of our health. We always strive to achieve an optimal state of well – being. As our lifestyle improves so does our health leading to less diseases and sickness.

When people talk about being healthy, they are usually referring to the following four components

cardiorespiratory ability
muscular ability
flexibility
body composition

Although most of them say that these ae the main components of being healthy but these are not the only contributing factors. The other components that are just as important are:

Emotional health: The ability to control your emotions so that you are able to express them appropriately.

Spiritual health: It has a concept of faith and varies from person to person.


Wellness is that state where the quality of life is enhanced including personal growth and potential through positive lifestyle behaviours and attitudes. We should all take responsibility for our own health and well – being only then we can improve our health. There are certain factors that contribute to our state of wellness including physical activity, coping with stress, having good relationships, career success and nutrition.
